The tax Department has recently announced the commencement of the implementation of Tax For All (TFA) online platform.
TFA will be developed in three stages. The first stage relates to Value Added Tax (VAT) and is expected to be released by end of March 2023.
The second and third stages, which will handle direct and other taxes are expected to be released by the end of 2024.
The new platform is expected to make taxpayers’ lives easier. Among other things, it will enhance transparency and offer a complete picture of taxpayers affairs Procedures will be simplified, automated and improved and there will be enhanced taxpayers’ data security, as analysis and use of data will be done with integrity and confidentiality.
The Tax Department has advised that Taxpayers proceed to update their e-mail addresses on the TAXISnet website, to enable the transfer of their account from TAXISnet to the new TFA platform.
